3R System Boss 2 Surfaces

3R System specializes in PC cases, cooling products, and power supplies unveiled a new high-end CPU air cooler, the Boss 2. This cooler uses the most common tower-design coolers in its class use. The unit measures 131(L)x95(W)x152(H) mm, and weights around 730 g (1.61 lbs). The cooler design consists of a CPU block that doubles up as a tiny heatsink. Here, five heatpipes make direct contact with the CPU. The heatpipes propagate through a dense array of aluminum fins. Its air-flow is care of a 120 mm LED-lit fan that rotates at speeds between 1000 and 2000 rpm, 53.5 CFM to 78.5 CFM, with a noise output range of 19 to 32 dBA. Sources indicate that the cooler will be released worldwide very soon, though there is no word on its price.

Thermolab New CPU Coolers

The Korean manufactuer Thermolab has now announced its first CPU cooler BARAM.BARAM measures 67*132*160mm and weighs 625g with five 6mm heatpipes. It’s compatible with Intel LGA775/1366 and AMD Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3 platforms. Thermolab has opted Scythe as their agent in Asia. BARAM is priced at Yen 5980 which is about $60.

Thermolab has also unveiled Micro Silencer and Nano Silencer 2009 coolers which are designed for CPUs with about 100W TDP.

DFI on Cooler Market

A CPU cooler marked with LanParty has been leaked by Clunk.org.uk, which might mean DFI will enter into cooler market for more gains. The cooler features dual-tower design and six heat sinks. It seems not easy to install it for normal users. According to the pictures, it doesn’t come with fan, and judging by the design of fins, it should be compatible with at least 120mm dual-fan. Perhaps 140mm fan is more possible. There are no more details about this LanParty cooler. It’s probably an outcome of DFI and Thermalright, as they have been working closely.

GlacialTech’s UFO V51 Core i7 cooler

GlacialTech has introduced the UFO V51 cooler. This UFO v51 cooler comes in two versions – UFO 51 Silent and UFO 51 PWM, and features a pure copper base, four copper heatpipes, a large aluminum heatsink and two 92mm fans. The UFO 51 Silent has both fans working at 1600 RPM for a total sound output of 19 dBA, while the UFO 51 PWM’s spinners can fo from 800 to 2500 RPM.

UFO V51 is specially designed for high-end AMD and Intel CPU, being compatible with LGA775/1160/1366 and Socket 754/939/940/AM2/F.

Quite similar to UFO airship in appearance, UFO V51 features dual 92*92*20mm fan operating at 1500rpm. The two fans are connected with each other by aluminum fins, and connected with copper base and upper cooler by 4 heat sinks.
